It's the end!

The anticipated moment finally came yesterday - the release of possibly my last final exam results. One glance at it and I was broken into two: should I cry at the poor grades which pulled my already-very-low CGPA further down, or rejoice at the fact that I DO NOT HAVE TO RETURN TO KAMPAR ANYMORE?

Yes! I didn't flunk any subjects with the worrisome UAMG 3004 turning out to be a passing D and the remaining two, B's. Well, my dream didn't really come true right, as I dreamt of a pass but in reality, it's only a passing grade. But heck cares, the word "passing" contains the word "pass" and although it contributed so so much to the plunge in my CGPA, it drew a beautiful full stop to my on-campus life (of assignments, midterms, lectures and tutorials).

YEP. Ladies and gentlemen, I am officially done with all academic units of my undergraduate life. No repeat papers, no extended semester, no delayed graduation! A whole new path awaits. Now, I only have to put on a good show for my industrial training which starts next week and lasts for three months in PJ, complete my FYP in time and wait to become jobless graduate earlier than my current coursemates. And that'd be really the end of it. Woohoo!

I think I'm more on the happier side than the sad, although the low CGPA kinda saddens me whenever I think of it. I'd probably write a more emotional post when I finally received my conferment of degree hopefully by mid-October this year. Haha.

On another matter, we celebrated my paternal grandmother's birthday in the middle of the month. Like last year, we invited the granduncles and grandaunties besides the customary presence of immediate relatives (uncles, aunties and cousins). I had actually snapped photos of each and every dish for blogging purposes but when I was transferring the photos to my hard drive, the memory card crashed and became corrupted. As my dad needed the camera for his overseas trip in a few hours' time, I gave up recovering the photos after a few attempts with different downloaded free-to-recover-but-pay-to-save-your-photos software.

You didn't miss much though, because as nice as the photos look, the tastes were rather disappointing except the super expensive fish which turned out to be the only super nice dish that night. Fortunately, I had transferred the group photos to my bro right after the dinner or else I'd really really be left with nothing at all. =X

As for the blog, I'm left with only the above photo of the two birthday cakes (left: blueberry yoghurt cheese; right: durian mousse) and durian cream puffs brought all the way down from KL by my 二姑. The durian cream puffs and cake were AWESOME!

My greatest success for this birthday dinner had to be the candles my bro and I bought for the cakes. With only both of us and later, another camera-holding cousin fully aware of the entire plot, we couldn't help but to laugh out so so loud when my uncle and aunts were trying so frantically the put out the candles which reignited automatically (for a few times! *lol*) after my grandmother blew them. They kept blowing and the candles kept relighting and I had a hard time balancing myself on the chair, on which I stood for photos-taking, laughing my ass off. The guests (those elderly relatives) were absolutely delighted and were chattering excitedly among themselves in Hokkien that "the candle can't be extinguished one!!!".

HAHAHAHAHAHA EPIC! ^^v

And I accidentally stumbled on something which we could probably attempt next year:

COOL, eh? Wonder what kind of reactions it'd generate. :D

I'm leaving Ipoh for my residence in PJ tomorrow. Kinda heavy-hearted. But whatever must come, will come. It's time to gear up for another phase of life. Wish me luck - I'd need tons of them, especially when I'm about to experience another bout of "first times" of my life. =)

Pass is already passed. Passing is passing but haven't 100% passed? LOL. But if get D (passing) then don't have to repeat anymore. LOL.
