I'm so proud of myself. I kept getting Molly to call me at the beginning of this semester, crying to her that I seriously didn't know how to pass this hellish semester, credited especially to the Campaign we were supposed to run. However, I persevered, gritted my teeth through all the shit thrown to me and drew a beautiful full stop to it on Wednesday.
Whatever negative thoughts, emotions and experiences would be kept away; let bygones be bygones. I need not be reminded by it; I just have to know I've survived it and that made me stronger.
Surprisingly and miraculously, we managed to get a score way beyond my expectations. I nearly smashed my laptop onto the floor when I saw the score while running back to join my group members. They saw it and screamed. I ran upwards, flashing the marks to all the other members, who also rejoiced by screaming or giving high-fives to each other. It didn't take long for us to fall into each other's embraces; I nearly cried tears of joy. It was indeed a very touching moment, considering the fact that our group was considered the most looked down upon one.
Our joyous moment paved way for a celebration dinner at Tanjung Tualang. A convoy of six cars drove all the way there for the seafood dinner. The atmosphere was very high as everyone was on cloud nine. I bet the other tables found us a nuisance due to the noise we made; we just acted like there's no tomorrow, so oblivious and ignorant of our surroundings, enjoying every food, joke or camwhoring moment.
As if the dinner wasn't enough, our Director suggested dessert at Tong Sui Gai, Ipoh. After a round of discussion, the convoy headed to Ipoh, just like that!
I was unable to finish my first mango sai mai lou (pic above) because a group member who only arrived after I started on my dessert spotted a red, swollen face and hands which started to itch and swell. She got the whole group of people startled; I tried to calm everyone down and three of us brought the girl to a clinic to get a jab and some medication. As my mango sai mai lou had become a small puddle of yellow water when we returned, I settled for the below sea coconut sai mai lou (picture taken using Adam's Canon 550D).
Apart from the little scare the group member who had some sensitive reactions towards the seafood, it was a memorable day. No politics, pure unity, fun and appreciation - my first and last time with such a big gang of coursemates.
Last week, I attended the last lecture of my undergraduate life. This week, I did the last presentation of the semester and attended the last tutorial of my undergraduate life. Yes, all under the condition that I do not fail this semester. So I should use that as the motivation to study for possibly the last exam of my undergraduate life.
Yep, study leave has officially started without the customary karaoke session because neither of my kakis were around. To make it the last study leave of my undergraduate life... I. Must. Study.Hard Smart.
Study mood, faster come!!! It wasn't easy to have come this far and since I have made it, I should hold on a lil longer. 14 days, babe, the countdown is on!
Since my customary pre-study leave karaoke session was lacking this time, I jumped at a movie opportunity with Let and her bf who happened to be in Ipoh just now.

倩女幽魂, or A Chinese Fairy Tale starring Louis Koo and Liu Yifei. Don't ask me why I watched this movie, because I just agreed on any movie they chose... so yeah. But then, it wasn't a bad watch. And it wasn't a horror movie. In fact, there were quite a few funny parts that had the whole cinema guffawing. Let commented that the original version featuring the late Leslie Cheung was better though.
We went shopping a while before leaving Jusco to have dinner.
No prizes for guessing where we went. A hearty and satisfying dinner (though the sausages and bacon were a tad too salty today) which left the three of us no space for dessert. =(
But still, we decided to try our luck at Tong Sui Gai, hoping that the sai mai lou stall would be opened. Sadly, the stall owners had just arrived when we did and were setting up the stall, which would be serving the dessert in half an hour's time.
Not wanting to wait, we settled for something else.
They sent me home before heading back, and that wraps up the fun I should have before studying. Slept enough, ate enough and played enough... it's time to study. Go go go! Add oil!! ^^

Yummylicious rojak sauce! I love the prawn crackers! :D
Mine. But not nice one. Too diluted.
